Welcome to the Warrnambool DUSA4U Forum!

Hey Guys....

I would like to formally introduce myself to you as the Warrnambool Campus VP. I'm Josie!! I'm a second year, a ressie student and I study nursing! I'm here to answer any of your questions, or to help you out as much as I possibly can!

This is my first year of being involved in DUSA and currently I love it. It's amazing the people you met and the experiences you get. That sounds so incredibly corny, I know, but hey - it's gotta be true otherwise I wouldn't say it!!

So please feel free to say hello to me around campus and come and introduce yourself to me!! I'm often seen asleep on the couches in the DUSA lounge, or permanently fixed to the computer in the fishbowl (also located in the lounge). So when your dropping by - say G'day!

The lounge is your space! Free pool, free tea and coffee, free (lovely) drinking water. There is a TV, DVD player, stereo, couches, and everything!! Come in and use the space!!

So I offfically welcome to you to the DUSA4U forum and make sure you post on this forum!! Easy way to get heard, and how convienient is it!!

Till next time,

Josie.

Re: Welcome to the Warrnambool DUSA4U Forum!

Hello Warrnambool!
I am an off-campus student studying journalism and working part-time in public relations.

I am also the editor of the DUSA Distance Campus eJournal "OFF in the DISTANCE".

At the moment it's sort of the only DUSA publication going aroung right now and we're always looking for contributions.

So to all you budding writers out there as well as anyone with an opinion of any kind... email me NOW - csmoo@deakin.edu.au.

I was actually once a Deakin Warrnambool student myself, lived on res an' all several years ago, so super keen to hear about the funny adventures you folk get up to!!!

Have a look at the current edition of OFF in the DISTANCE by going to the DUSA homepage then click onto the off campus tab and head on over to eJournal on the left hand side.

Get yourself published - it looks great on your resume!

Talk to y'all soon.
